This property was reserved by lactamian I'm 21 years old, from Florida, USA. Wiccan Rede Bide the Wiccan laws we must. In perfect love and perfect trust. Live and let live, fairly take and fairly give. Cast the circle thrice about to keep the evil spirits out. To bind the spell every time, let the spell be spake in rhyme. Soft of eye and light of touch, speak little, listen much. Deosil go by the waxing moon, chanting out the Witches' Rune. Widdershins go by the waning moon, chantingout the banefull rune. When the Lady's moon is new, kiss the hand to her, times two. When the moon rides at her peak, then your hearts desire seek. Heed the North wind's mighty gale, lock the door and drop the sail. When the wind comes from the South, love will kiss thee on the mouth. When the wind blows from the West, departed souls will have no rest. When the wind blow from the East, expect the new and set the feast. Nine woods in the cauldron go, burn them fast and burn them slow. Elder be the Lady's tree, burn it not or cursed you'll be. When the wheel begins to turn, let the Beltane fires burn. When the wheel has turned to Yule, light the log and the Horned One rules. Heed ye flower, bush and tree, by the Lady, blessed be. Where the rippling waters go, cast a stone and truth you'll know. When ye have a true need, hearken not to others' greed. With a fool no season spend, lest ye be counted as a friend. Merry meet and merry part, bright the cheaks and warm the heart. Mind the Treefold law you should, three times bad and three times good. When misfortune is enow, wear the Blue Star on thy brow. True in love ever be, lest thy lovers false to thee. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An ye harm none, do what ye will. The full moon illuminates the dark sky, Yet it sheds only a dim light on the ground below, I love the feel of the soft grass against my body, I close my eyes and let the darkness engulf me. I release all of my negative thoughts from the day, and allow myself to dwell on the positive highlights, As I drift off to sleep. After an unknown period of time The visions begin to flood my mind, rapidly changing. Each one is etched into my mind, Preparing me for my next day of life. I wake with feeling of fear, But I'm instantly comforted, By the southing sounds of the night; A gift from the Goddess. Anna 1999 | |||||||||||||||||||||||

You will have noticed that everything an | Indian does is in a circle and that is because the Power Of The World always works in circles, and that everything tries to be round. In the old days, when we were a strong and happy people, all our power came to us from the sacred hoop of the nation, and as long as the hoop was unbroken, the people flourished. The flowering tree was the centre of the hoop, and the circle of the four quarters nourished it. The East gave peace and light, The South gave warmth, The West gave rain, And the North with it's cold and mighty wind gave strength and endurance. This knowledge came to us from the outer world with our religion. Everything the Power Of The World does is in a circle. The sky is round, and I have heard the Earth is round, like a ball, and so are all the stars. The Wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nests in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours. The Sun comes forth and goes down again in a circle. The Moon does the same and both are round. Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, And always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves. - Black Elk speaks 1979 - Casting The Circle I summon, stir, and call ye up Mighty ones of the East, Ancient powers of Air, Powers of wonder and imagination, To witness our rites and guard our circle In the name of Nike, winged goddess of glorious messages Hail and welcome.
